Botir Kodirov was born on May 6, 1981, in Andijan into a family of artists. His mother is Zulkhumor Kodirova, an Honored Artist of Uzbekistan. Botir Kodirov had a strong passion for singing from childhood. After finishing school, in 2000, he entered the Andijan College of Arts. After graduating from college, he entered the traditional singing department of the Tashkent State Institute of Culture. He began his career in 2005 with the song "Seni o'ylayman". His hit songs include "Adashdim" and "Seni o'ylayman". To date, the singer has presented about 60 songs, nearly 10 music videos, and 4 albums to his fans. Currently, the singer works with arrangers Nodir Umarov, Aziz Hasanov, Aziz Kholmurodov, and poet M. Khotamova.
